Aaron's Graduation in Wisconsin!

Aaron graduated from medical school in May. Cody and I were able to go out to Wisconsin to see him graduate. This was Cody’s first airplane ride and I wouldn’t say it was one of his favorite things, but he did pretty good on the way there. He threw up three times on the way back, as well as crying, waking up some of the other passengers who were trying to sleep. While we were in Wisconsin we had a lot of fun, as well as packed him up to move to California. Aaron took us to the Human Body Museum. The museum was full of dissected human bodies and even a horse. They were all dissected to show something different about the human body. It was amazing and so interesting. We went to an IMAX show called Bodyworks.

Cody really liked the Butterfly room. There were butterflies everywhere that would just land on us. He got very excited and tried to grab them and catch them.

Sunday was a treat! Aaron took us to Chicago for the day. He had his friend Rissie watch Cody all day. She said they took a lot of walks (a good way to calm him down). When we drove into Chicago we went across a bridge – the river below is the one they turn green for St. Patrick’s Day. He showed us his marathon route. We saw the Trump tower being built. The buildings were so tall. We were driving in tunnels or on roads with a street above or below us. There were so many roads it was crazy. There were parks in the middle of the city – big parks with huge sculptures and art pieces. There were apartments on top of stores and restaurants. We walked down Michigan Ave which is called the Magnificent Mile. The city was really neat. Then we went to the Broadway play, Wicked. It was Fantastic! I highly recommend it to everyone. Overall, we had a great long weekend. Thanks Aaron for a great time and a break from the daily stresses of life. Congrats on your great accomplishment. We love you!

Body Worlds is an exhibit of preserved human bodies like this one.
