The week of Halloween was a lot of fun. Jacquelyn's school had something silly planned for every day of the week. The other kids really enjoyed doing everything Jacquelyn was doing. Monday was crazy hair day so we spray painted their hair pink/orange. I tried to do it crazy, but everyone told Jacquelyn that her hair looked cute not crazy. The color made it crazy then.
I was in charge of Jacquelyn’s classroom party. I must say it was an excellent party! One of my better ones =). I did a little twist to it and the kids loved it. I did experiments for the kids, talked about scientists and what a hypothesis is. They all paid close attention and wanted more. I also made a poster board of the song Witches Brew, by Hap Palmer, and the kids learned that song. Then we made witches brew, AKA "root beer" with dry ice. They loved watching it bubble over the sides. After my portion I had a mom in charge of a craft – she had them make ghosts with their foot prints in white paint. Another mom was in charge of a game – she played a fun ghost game with suckers and also made a really cute witch and they played pin the chewed up bubble gum on the witches nose.
We didn’t have a chance to carve our pumpkin and the kids were upset with me about that, but we still had a great Halloween week.

And you say I am the talented one. I think you are mistaking. Your birthday parties and cakes were so cute. And I'm sure your Halloween party was the best in the school. That wasn't your goal was it, you big show off. :) You do great at everything.
Glad to see some postings. I have been addicted since you showed me yours. Did I give you our blog address? If not here it is craigandtashielundberg.blogspot.com
Your kids look great in their costumes. It sounds like you are still busy as ever! We too just got our christmas lights up outside. It is fun when you have a family day all together! We don't have many of those anymore with Craig coaching! Oh well...in Mid-march we will! Thinking of you guys and missing you!--
